Project Description

A clean, contemporary European style was brought to this Los Altos home via an addition and remodel by Alfonso & Harmon Architects. From its Modern Ranch exterior to its crisp interior detailing, the entire home reflects the client’s aesthetic. An existing covered porch at the back of the house was incorporated to create a comfortable Great Room space. The expanded and relocated Kitchen features a dramatic yet functional island that incorporates the table for casual dining. A raised ceiling with sculpted skylights, wide plank oak floors, and a wall of glass with views into the backyard give the space additional impact. Alfonso & Harmon worked closely with the client’s tight budget and schedule and the contractor to create a project that met everyone’s needs. The project was built by Lisac Construction.
