Project Description

The owners of the Orangetree Lane residence approached Alfonso & Harmon Architects with the desire for a new expanded Kitchen to suit their large extended family. However, the existing home was comprised of a series of small rooms cut off from each other and from views into the lovely backyard. The solution was to remove the dividing interior walls to create a comfortable Great Room with a modern Kitchen featuring a large island with seating for 6. Clustered skylights and a vaulted ceiling contribute to the spacious feeling, as do the wall of windows and sliding glass doors along the back that provide views into the backyard pool area. A corner gas fireplace supplies warmth and coziness in the Sitting Room. Construction by Lisac Construction.
