Project Description

Located on a large sprawling lot in Saratoga, Alfonso & Harmon Architects designed this country home to meet the client’s request to take in views of the their private vineyard and native specimen oak trees. The one-story ranch style house has an exterior pallet of stucco, stone, and concrete tile roof. The arched barrel-vaulted ceiling at the front porch is carried through the interior Entry and Living Room with matching arched windows in the rear, defining the more formal areas of the home. The large cherry Kitchen with island seating opens into the Dining area and flows into the vaulted Family Room with a rustic stone fireplace. The exterior of the home is complemented by the landscape design by Mary Gordon.
