Project Description

The Dana Street Residence, originally a small single-story Cottage, was transformed into a new two-story Traditional home well-suited for its older downtown neighborhood. With three Bedrooms, two and a half Baths, plus an Office and large Basement, the home is designed to meet the client’s growing needs. The bright interior spaces maximize natural light. The existing cramped and enclosed Kitchen was expanded with the addition of a new vaulted Breakfast Nook surrounded by floor-to-ceiling glass overlooking the backyard. A vaulted second-story deck brings light into the Office. A new front porch gives the home street presence and creates a space for the clients to meet and greet their neighbors and guests. The home was built by Shoop Construction.
